Mary Elizabeth Pigg, 92, of Smithville, Missouri passed away January 18, 2014. Funeral services are 10:30 am Wednesday January 22nd at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, with visitation preceding services from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Mary was born April 20, 1921 in Carter County, Missouri to John and Elsie (Green) Parkhill. She married Russell W. Pigg on June 5, 1939. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Smithville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Russell, 2 sisters, Julie Lowe, Ethel McSpadden, 4 brothers, William, John, Chester, and Sherman Parkhill, and her parents. Survivors include her two sons, Elbert (Nancy) Pigg, of Smithville, Missouri, Robert (Helen) Pigg, of Richmond, Missouri, daughter, Dorothy (Lee) Huntley, of Smithville, Missouri, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
