Mary Louisa Holloway, 83, of Kansas City, MO, went to be with her Savior in Heaven, January 15, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, at First Baptist Church of Kansas City, 100 W. Red Bridge Rd. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mary Holloway Memorial Fund, c/o First Baptist Church of Kansas City, 100 W. Red Bridge Road, Kansas City, MO 64114. Mary was born January 3, 1929 in Montgomery, AL, daughter of Harry and Lena (Heinberger) Mullen. She was an avid miniaturist and a doll enthusiast. She loved to tell a good story. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Mullen and sister Ruth Beckrich. Mary is survived by her husband Bob Holloway of Kansas City; daughters Ginny Ewald and husband Philip of Houston, TX and Holly Carter and husband David of Independence, MO; son John Holloway and wife Amy of Leawood, KS; eight grandchildren, extended family and friends.
