Mary Catherine Hale, 96, of Fairway Kansas entered into eternal rest on April 3, 2021. She was born to her parents, Joseph and Rosetta in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a sister to her brother Joe and her sister Eileen.
Mary was married to her husband, William Willis Hale in 1946 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He passed away in 1949. To that marriage was born a son, William Joseph Hale. Mary and her son moved in with her parents to allow her to take the various jobs that she held to provide for her family. Mother and son would become lifelong partners until her passing and will remain in spirit. She is having one heck of a reunion with family and all her friends she made throughout her life. Mary held various jobs in business, government and volunteer venues. She loved to travel, both stateside and in other countries. One memorable trip for her and her son was to Europe to see friends and sights.
After she retired, she remained active playing cards, bowling, golfing and with her music degree she played for the local parishes where she belonged. Mary also enjoyed entertaining at hospitals, nursing and retirement homes and other gatherings.
She lived a very full, productive and rewarding life. She will be missed but she’s now enjoying peace and happiness from this life and world and awaiting eternally for the start and reunion in the next heavenly one that she is now a part of.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kingswood Manor for their kind and compassionate care.
