Mary Ellen Fink

Mary Ellen Dreher Fink, 84, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her sleep June 11, 2016. Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

Mary Ellen was born in Neosho, Missouri, daughter of Emma (Curry) Dreher and Richard Guy Dreher. She loved to be surrounded by pretty things, and especially beautiful flowers. She loved the beauty of nature that abounds around us all. Mary Ellen was passionate about gardening, reading, traveling, but most of all, she loved her family! She was generous to a fault and never spent a single day thinking or being "old"! Always young at heart and gracious to the end.

She is survived by her loving husband, of nearly 60 years, K. William Fink, her son, Steve Fink, daughter Cynthia (Fink) Baker, daughter-in-law Becki Fink, three grandchildren, Steven Fink, Chelsea Fink and Braxton Fink, and a great granddaughter Avery Frisbee, all of the Kansas City Area. Mary Ellen is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Barbara Dreher of Littleton, Colorado.
