Mary C Early

Mary Catherine Early, 86, passed away Oct. 27, 2015. Rosary recited at 6pm Mon., Nov. 2, 2015 with visitation from 6:30pm - 8pm at McGilley & Sheil Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 12pm Tues. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 611 N. Liberty, Indep., with burial following in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Mary was born September 25, 1929 in KCMO to Bernard & Anna Early & lived in Independence her whole life. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Parish, volunteered in their Food Pantry for 12 years & managed their Christmas Mercy Tree Project. Mary retired from Southwestern (Ma) Bell after 37 years as a Comptroller. She was a member of the CWA & the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas Joseph & Bernard Patrick Early. She is survived by 11 nieces & nephews, Debbie Andrae (Ron), Theresa Burt (Dwight), Kathleen Early, Laura Money (Brent), Thomas J. Early, Jr., Dianne Piper (Gary), Linda Early, Susan Jungblut (Jim), Mary Ann Harding (Dan), Michael Early & Annette Spencer as well as many great & great-great nieces & nephews.
