Mary Catherine Cannon, 94, Raytown, Missouri, passed away January 11, 2015. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 16, at St. Regis Catholic Church, 8941 James A. Reed Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Breakthrough, PO Box 412482, Kansas City, Missouri 64141.
Mrs. Cannon was born December 27, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Thomas and Catherine (Brauch) Brinsdon. She was a homemaker. She volunteered for many years at KCPT-Public Television-TV19. She enjoyed her Birthday Club luncheons and dinner outings with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis B. Cannon. Mrs. Cannon is survived by her daughter Linda C. (Gunn) Hill of Kansas City, Missouri; numerous cousins and friends; and three “special daughters” Cindy Cordsen, Lee’s Summit, Linda Huber, Bella Vista, Arkansas and Marty Morris, Lee’s Summit.
