Mary E. Shaffner Bailey, 92, of Independence, MO passed away on Aug. 22, 2012 with her four daughters at her side. Services held Sat., Aug. 25th at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel, visitation from 9-10am with service beginning at 10am. Burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, Indep., MO. Mary was a devoted parent who put her daughters & entire family above all else. Her neighbors & friends will remember her from Sheffield Steel (Armco Steel) where she worked as a secretary for 29 years. She was a member of Budd Park Christian Church until it closed its doors a few years ago. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Bailey and a grandson, Charles Patrick Teeter. She leaves behind her daughters, Georgia Holladay (Bob), Linda Stump (Tom), Jan Hall (Brian) & Mary Jane Ludwig (Larry); 7 grandchildren & their spouses; 12 great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
