Marvin was born September 12, 1929 in Bowdre Township Douglas County , Illinois.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Inez Martin, his three children, Pam (Paul) Muller, Tam (Kirby) Asplund, and Steve (Teresa) Martin, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, 25 January 2020 at 2:00pm at Longview Chapel Christian Church located at 850 SW Longview Road, Lee’s Summit, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to John Knox Village Foundation for The Hobby Hut, 400 NW Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081.
