Marvin was the son of Rolla Harvey and Mary Edith Cattey Bailey and was born July 30, 1928
in New Boston, Missouri. Marvin served 2 years in the United States Navy. He was a member of Raytown Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). On August 1, 1949, he married Audroy Virginia Noah of Marceline, Missouri and the spent 73 years together until his death.
Marvin was preceded in death by parents, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
He was survived by wife Virginia, son Tom, daughter Nancy, daughter in law Pam, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was also survived by a sister, Ina Mae Samuelson of Liberty, Missouri,
many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering for Marvin will be held Monday, April 10, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 East 47th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64133, followed by a memorial service with military honors at 2:00 PM.
