Martha Ann Main

Martha was born on July 2, 1941, in Newburgh, New York to Virgil Soloman Scott, SR. and Helen Nellie Provost. Martha graduated from Marceline High School in 1959. In 1960 she married Marion Edward Main in Marceline, MO. Martha worked for the City of Independence for 24 years and for Sears Roebuck and Co. for 12 years in various accounting supporting roles. Martha enjoyed entertaining family and friends, playing bridge, croquet and creating amazing scrapbooks for her family.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Stephanie Herrick, brother Milton Scott, nephew Mark Schwery and great nieces Lulu Abigale and Savannah June Dooley.

Survivors include: son and wife, Stephen and Karen Main: siblings and spouses, Shirley and Allen Schwery, Charles and Vera Scott, Virgil and Connie Scott, and sister-in-law Linda Scott; grandchildren: Mitchell, Michael, and Taylor Herrick; son-in-law and his wife Brent and Damon Herrick, and several nephews and nieces.
