Mark was active in open wheel racing since he was a boy. For over 70 years he was a fan, driver, crew member and car owner. He was also involved in the RC racing, owning two RC hobby shops. He also owned several street rods. Starting in 2000, he became involved in car restoration of famous open wheel race cars. Mark started working for General Motors at the Leeds plant at 18. He worked there until the plant closed.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Christine Randol; his aunt, Cleo Randol; and his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Estelle Randol.
His survivors include his wife, Sheila Randol; daughter, Lisa Jackson (Rick); son, Jeff Randol and son Doug Randol (Kala); two grandchildren, Sydney Jackson and Boone Randol. Other survivors are nephew, Mike Randol (Sandy); niece, Donna Jones (Bill); and three great nephews.
There was a private family grave service at Memorial Park in Kansas City, MO. At a later date there will be a Celebration of Life.
