Marie Isabelle (Bost) Smith 97 years passed away on Sunday April 7, 2024 at her home in Cedarhurst Senior living Blue Springs Missouri from complications of a stroke.
Marie was born October 6, 1926 to Lester Bost and Delcia) Belcher) Bost. She grew up in the family home in Northeast Kansas City. She married Harold R. Smith March 3, 1951. She was such a helpmate to her husband. They owned a Coast To Coast Hardware store for years. They never had children buy she was so good to her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother which is her only sibling Lester Harold Bost and husband. Contributions to City Union Missions and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
A visitation for Marie will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, followed by a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
