A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19 at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
Betty was born on June 5, 1923 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to George Arthur Westcott and Marie (Megerle) Westcott. She worked as a hospital nurse and then as a corporate nurse for AT&T. Betty was a longtime member of Colonial Presbyterian Church. She volunteered at Research Hospital as well as Top Drawer - an upscale resale boutique benefiting Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. She was an avid quilter.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Dean.
She is survived by her two daughters Linda (Gordon) Reabe and Judy (Robert) McQueen. Betty is also survived by her grandchildren Katelyn (Robert) Andree, Shannon (Mark) Dickson, Eric Reabe, Spencer Reabe, Naomi McQueen and Rachel McQueen. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her great-grandchildren Jackson Andree, Aurora Dickson and Moriah Dickson.
