Maria Margarita (Puga) DeJesus, 95 of Kansas City, MO, passed away November 24, 2022 at Truman Lakewood Care Center. She was born October 17, 1927 in Las Cruces, Mexico to Francisco and Juanita (Barba) Puga. She lived most of her adult life in Kansas City’s Westside. In the mid-eighties she moved to the Cathedral Square Apartments in Downtown Kansas City. She was transferred to Truman Lakewood Care Long Term Care Facility where she passed way. She leaves a son, Tony Lopez and his wife, Sherdia (Sher) Lopez of Blue Springs; a grandson, Bernie Lopez of Independence; a granddaughter, Jamie Lindley; and two great-grandchildren, Sofia and Joshua.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, 2544 Madison Kansas City, MO, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m.
