God choose to call Margaret home and grant her angel wings December 21st, 2017, she was 84.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 3rd, 1933 to Edward and Catherine Cartwright.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, brother Edward Cartwright, Jr., son Eric Scott Wilson. Her formative years of education were in the Kansas City Missouri School District, and she was a proud graduate of Nevada, Missouri High School (the Gold Class of 1951). Upon graduating high school, Margaret moved back to Kansas City where she working as a secretary for Spencer Chemical, and Home Savings and Loan. During that period she met and married an Air Force Pilot, Jack D. Nitz, whom she lost when they were both in Japan. Her son Eric was 6 months. She moved back to Kansas City, got involved with Calvary Lutheran Church, and where Eric attended his early years of school Margaret devoted much of her time and energy around Eric, she wanted the best for him, who she loved dearly. Then in 1966 she married Dale, who adopted Eric as well as having a son Neil. She wanted the best for her family, encouraging everyone to strive for excellence in everything.
Her life seems too short for many, but those who were touched by her, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time which one lives. Her gentle smile and laugh brought so much joy to her family and all those who knew her. It did not matter what circumstances life sent her way, she was tough and determined to handle it.
Margaret leaves to cherish her precious memories to her husband, Dale L. Wilson, son Neil (Kristi) Wilson, and grandchildren, Maia, Cooper, Quinn, Ian, Wesley, Erica, great-grandson Kayden, brother Peter (Nyla) Cartwright, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
