Margaret T. (McCue) Stark, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 12th, 10:00 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO, 64114, with burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community of Good Shepherd, 10101 James A. Reed Road, Kansas City, MO, 64134, or to Christ the King Catholic Church.
Margaret was born February 25, 1928, in Kansas City, MO to James and Agnes McCue. She graduated from Lillis High School and continued her education at Mount St. Scholastica College and graduated with a BA in Dietetics. She married Eugene M. Stark on June 12, 1954, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Kansas City, MO. Margaret worked at KU Medical Center as a dietician. She went back to college at CMSU and received her Education Certificate and became a Home Economics Teacher for the Kansas City Public School District. Eugene and Margaret were lifelong members of Christ the King Church. She was a member of the Teachers Home Economics Association of Greater Kansas City and also volunteered at Community of Good Shepherd. The first love of her life was Eugene, followed by her grandchildren and shopping.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her husband, Eugene who passed away on July 18, 1989. She is survived by her children, Stephen E. Stark (Joy) of Raymore, MO; Janice T. Inlow (Dale) of Raytown, MO; grandchildren, Jennifer Stark Eckel of Kansas City, MO; Stephen Stark, II, of Raymore, MO; Christopher Inlow (Kati) of Everett, WA; and J. Patrick Inlow of Raytown, MO.
