Margaret B. Donegan

Margaret B. Donegan, Kansas City, MO, passed away October 6, 2012 at Foxwood Springs Living Center, Raymore, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM, Thursday, October 11 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2700 E. Mechanic, Harrisonville, MO. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, KCMO. The Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM, Wednesday, October 10, followed by a visitation until 8 PM at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, KCMO.

Margaret was born August 10, 1925, in Monet, MO, to parents Claude and Icy Beymer. On September 11, 1948, she was married to Joseph Donegan, II, in KCMO. They became the parents of six children. Margaret retired from the IRS as a tax examiner after many years of employment. She was a founding member of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in KCMO, and since 2002 has been a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville.

In 2002, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joe; by two sons: Joseph, III, and David; and by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Margaret is survived by: her children, Patty Wetmore, Charles (Karen) Donegan, Loretta Penson, and Edward (Tina) Donegan; by 13 grandchildren, and 12 great greatgrandchidren; and by 2 sisters: Juanita Colvin and Annabelle Beymer.
