Marcia Enid Ragan

The graveside service and burial will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, November 21 New Hope Cemetery in Liberty, MO.

Marcia was born Dec. 8, 1939, to William M. and Myrtle Anderson in Cedar County, MO and lived in the Stockton area throughout her childhood. After graduating from Lamar High School in 1957 she moved to Kansas City. On Feb. 14, 1959, she married James “Grizz” Allen Ragan. They were married 56 years before his death in 2016 and raised two daughters. Marcia was a member of the Assemblies of God denomination. She retired from the City of Kansas City, MO after 28 years of service. Marcia is preceded in death by her husband, parents and five siblings.

She is survived by her daughters Michele (James) Hoelzel and Julie (Clifford) Bogart; granddaughter Ragan Hoelzel; great-granddaughter Elpha Holt and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
