Lyle C Evans

Lyle Cecil Evans, 84, passed away on January 24, 2013. He was born in North Platte, Nebraska on June 28, 1928 to Cecil and Lena Evans. Lyle served in the USN during World War II, returned to Scottsbluff, Nebraska and married his wife of 61 years, Mary Jo who died in 2009. The family moved to Gladstone, Missouri in 1965. He is survived by his four children, Jennifer and Mike Carney of Denver, Colorado; Mike and Jill Evans of Columbia, Missouri; Bill Evans of Gladstone, Missouri; and Kathy and Bruce Staude of North Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Monday, January 28, 2013 at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 10- 11 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1441 NE Englewood Rd, Kansas City, MO 64118 or the Shepherds Center of the Northland, 4805 NE Antioch Rd, Suite 9, Kansas City, Missouri 64119.
