Louise B. Fisher

Louise B. Fisher of Cleveland, Missouri made her transition on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Services will be held Saturday, August 20th, 12:00 p.m., at McGilley State Line Chapel, with burial following in Virginia Cemetery, Virginia, MO. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Louise was born September 15, 1937 to August and Una Brenneman. She married Fred Fisher on May 7, 1960. They enjoyed dancing, music and being around the water. Louise took pride in the fact that her first accounting job was a listing under the “help wanted male” column. She also took pride in her accomplishments and Fred would tease her that if she was secretary of labor, there would be no unemployment.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Fisher, and dear friends Diana and Danna Spence (“adopted” daughter and granddaughter); as well as cousins and sister-in-law who were her “sisters”. She will be missed by family and friends.
