Louis A. Cervantes Sr.

Louis A. Cervantes, Sr., 56 of Gladstone, MO, passed away Sept. 7, 2015 surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born Aug. 17, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to Antonio and Lorenza (Alvarez) Cervantes. Louis was a true friend to everyone he met. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years; loving his coworkers whom he considered family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorenza Cervantes, and his loving aunt, Ascencion Alvarez. He is survived by his by his loving wife of 27 years, Judy Cervantes; 3 sons, Louis (Carla), Chris (Gina), and Michael; daughter, Gabrielle; 6 grandchildren; father, Antonio; 3 brothers, David, Xavier (Gloria), and Daniel; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. and Rosary at 7 p.m. on Thurs, Sept. 10 at St Charles Borromeo Church, 900 Shady Lane Dr., Oakview, MO 64118. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11 at the church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
