She faithfully cared for two husbands in their time of need then became a Hospice volunteer at the age of 85, winning a national award for her service. She loved her girls, her grandkids, and soon-to-be 31 great grandchildren. She always had a candy dish filled to the brim, 7-up stashed in the fridge, and something baking in the oven. Juanita was a talented crochet artist, creating many custom pieces for family and friends. She loved her little dog Max, enjoyed connecting with people on Facebook, and playing cards. Above all, she loved to dance: within seconds of a song playing, Juanita was dancing around the room with a big smile on her face.
Mom, Grandma, GiGi, we love you. We know you are at peace, free from pain, and probably baking pies in heaven.
