Through the years Linda enjoyed knitting, fly fishing and bowling. She was married to her husband Randy Thompson for 27 years. Linda worked as a hairdresser and worked at Teva Neuroscience as a patient customer care representative for 18 years. Linda was loved and extremely respected by her family, friends and co-workers everyone she dealt with from the doctor's, pharmacies, the home health network, co-workers and nurses and of course the patients. Linda was a member of the Gamma Zeta Master Chapter of BetaSigma Phi in Blue Springs.
Linda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Loretta Arrasmith and grandfather, Louis DeMaranville; mother, Lulamae Starke and father, James Starke.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Thompson; son, Donnie Martin and wife, Shannon Martin; son, Brad Martin and wife Elisa Martin and daughter, Heather Shelby; five grandchildren, one great grandchild and sister Loretta Chenchark, Mike Ciafullo, Patty Lamano, Randy Carlton, Vicki Curtin and husband Jim Curtin, Jimmy Starke and wife Deb Starke and many nieces, nephews and friends
A memorial service for Linda will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, followed by a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
