Linda Sue Stafford

Linda S. Stafford, 77, of Independence, MO passed away November 4, 2021. She was born January 31, 1944 in the Kansas City area into a family of 6 children. After moving around she settled back here in KC and met the love of her life James "Jim" Stafford. They got married and had 2 girls they loved very much. When Jim passed away, she moved to McAllen, TX, where she made new friends and spent quality time with her sister who helped her heal. She enjoyed dancing and spending time in the warm southern weather. She eventually decided to move back to Kansas City to be closer to family, where she greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and granddogs.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband James Stafford. Survivors include her daughters Jami and husband Mark Kolody; and Nicole (Nikki) and husband Joshua Warner; grandchildren Devin Elam, Caitlyn Elliot, Kyla Elam and Robby Rupple; great grandchildren Elijah Drew Elliott, Sophia Lynn Elam, Carl Gary Elam, Jayce Andrews Ruppel, Sicilia Dean-Rose Elam, and Natalia Irene-Aster Ruppel; sisters-in-law Linda Cox and Helen Stafford; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda was an amazing, strong wonderful woman. Her family will miss her greatly.

There will be a visitation only from 1-2:30pm, Friday, December 3, 3021 at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
