Susie had been struggling through the last couple of years with Liver Disease and Parkinson’s. She had moved to Brandon, Mississippi where she spent the last year of her life with her son and grandchildren.
Susie was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 6, 1949 to Theodore and Lora Marie Nusbaum. She was the youngest of three children with two older brothers Teddy Nusbaum and Guy Nusbaum. Susie worked for Commerce Bank of Kansas City for more than 25 years. Susie leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to family and a great love for life. Her devotion to family and friends is considered extraordinary. She will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her brother Guy Nusbaum, son Jon Rogers, granddaughters Shelbi and Abbi Rogers’s, many cousins and a wealth full of friends.
Services will be at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, February 24th at 9:00am with a service at 11am.
