Lawrence was born in Marysville, Missouri. He resided in Raytown after retiring from the Army in 1992 after 22 years of service to his country. He served as a software installer for the army all over the world. After retiring, he enjoyed showing his numerous mustangs at car shows. He enjoyed traveling the country with his family and friends, and also with his Mustang buddies. He was an avid gardener and love to work in the yard. He was a very good father and grandfather. He was very soft-spoken, a man of few words and very giving. He was a super NASCAR junkie. He loved watching every NASCAR race every weekend. Although he had MS, it didn’t stand in his way from doing anything he wanted to do. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 13 years, Linda of the home, his mother, Clorine Henggeler (Dec. Lawrence Henggeler Sr.) sister, Mary Maddock (Dec. Danny) and brothers, Leonard (Liz) and Gordon (Andrea). He leaves many nephews and nieces and six grandchildren who all love him dearly.
