Lawrence Vernon Bolton

Lawrence V. Bolton, age 85, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away June 20, 2014. A visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 followed by 11:00 a.m. funeral services at Grace Point Baptist Church, 10415 Chestnut Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64137. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

He was born September 12, 1928 in Gig Harbor, Washington, son of Jack L. and Clara (Olsen) Bolton. Lawrence served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had worked as a machine shop foreman in the airline industry.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 63 years, JoAnn Bolton, brother Jack LeRoy Bolton; sons David Bolton, Daryl Bolton, and Daniel Bolton; granddaughter Dawn DeVaul, grandson Douglas Bolton, grandson Drew Bolton, grandson Corie Bolton, granddaughter Hannah Bolton, great-grandson Joshua DeVaul, and great-granddaughters Brooke DeVaul and Kayleigh Bolton.
