A widow for 42 years, Laura was a strong woman who lived a cultured and independent life. She enjoyed attending the symphony, traveling, reading, and celebrating milestones with her children and grandchildren. “Grammy” was always their biggest fan – never missing an important moment.
She is survived by her brother Stan, her three children Ellen (Mark) Donaldson, George (Jan) Heinlein, and Suzanne (Matt) Copeland, as well as her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband George, her brothers Jerry, Dick, and Ivan “Butch,” her sister Barbara, and her cherished dog Louie.
Laura’s life was defined by her love for family, her warmth, grace, and enduring faith. Her memory will live on in the laughter and love shared at family gatherings, her favorite moments of all.
