He worked for Johnson & Son’s Monument and was a well-known and respected Graniteer for over 40 years. The patience he showed with each and every family he ever came in contact with was a testament of his loving and caring personality. He truly was a master of his craft and will forever be one of the best at granite roses.
He was survived by his wife, Lorie Kelley, and eight children, Elisha, Cassandra, Faith, Brendan, Alisha, Mark, Joshua, and Billy. As well as three grandchildren, James, Aubriana, and Lisa. He is also survived by his brother Pete Kelley and wife Brenda, sisters Judy Atkinson and Mary Boultinghouse and husband Charles, uncle Chuck Atwood, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 pm with an open mic session for memory sharing. The Funeral will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost Avenue on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 am.
Following the Saturday services, lunch will be served by the Father & Mother In-Law, Bob & Joette Reitinger at 20606 W 96th Street, Lenexa, Kansas 66220.
