Kenneth Robert Van Camp

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 15 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131 with a visitation one hour prior to the memorial. Burial of Ashes will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Monday, July 19th. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Kenny was born on June 29, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Andrew J. and Nadine (Zimmerling) Van Camp. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved playing sports. He played on a softball team, played football in the street with family members and really enjoyed mud volleyball in his favorite place to visit in Home, Kansas. Kenny also really enjoyed doing round-ups twice a year at his uncle's cattle ranch in southern Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Andy Jr. and Jack Van Camp, four sisters, Sandy, Gayle and Debra Van Camp, and Judy Wyick. He is survived by his two daughters Danielle Van Camp & Courtney Crist, one brother, Steven Van Camp, four sisters, Kathy Miller (Dan), Patty Harris, Sherry Garcia (Bobby) and Andee Jo Suos (Tony) and multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
