Kelly Lynne Brasel

Kelly Lynne Brasel, 58, of Lee’s Summit MO passed away on Monday August 29, 2022.

She was born on August 4,1964 to Orville and Patsy (Willis) Kilgore. She is preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Kilgore.

Kelly is survived by her longtime partner Gary Zirkel; Father Orville Kilgore; Sister Diane Embree Rick; Sons, Tiger Brasel Jr. (Jennifer) Taylor Brasel (Samantha); Grandchildren, Lucy and Brody. Kelly leaves behind many friends, co-workers and family that will miss her dearly.

Kelly loved to travel, read and watch the sunsets after a day on the lake. Her fondest memories growing up were weekend trips to the lake camping and being with her family. Kelly had a passion for animals caring for and spoiling her beloved dogs her entire life.

Kelly was a Business Analyst in her professional career. Kellogg’s (18) Fonegear (7) and the last 9 years for Viracor Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics. She was highly respected not only for her passion but her professionalism in working with others to complete projects. You could always count on Kelly for the help and support needed. She valued her co-workers and they valued her.

Kelly always showed compassion to others while dealing with her long-term health issues. She never complained but chose to enjoy life and embrace every day.

She will be dearly missed by all.

An open house Celebration of Life memorial will be held September 17 at the home 713 SW Admiral Byrd Drive, Lee’s Summit Mo. 64082 from 12-6 pm.
