Kathryn was born on April 25, 1988. She grew up in Leawood, KS and graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 2006. She attended JCCC and Rockhurst University while working with elderly patients with their physical therapy needs. Katy’s intellect, friendly positive attitude were enjoyed by her teachers and peers throughout her life. All who knew Katy loved her and knew of her kind and sensitive heart. Katy’s biggest love was for animals which began early in life and was nurtured by her Grandma Katie and Aunt Gina Marie. Therefore, it was clear that the heavens needed another angel to care for the animals. God chose the best when he took our Katy. Katy is forever in our hearts and her bright spirit lives forever.
Katy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles and Vivian Duval. She is survived by her father, Ted Duval; mother, Julie Duval Pupillo; brother, Charles; maternal grandparents, Jack and Katie Schwer. She is also survived by many Duval/Pupillo Aunts, Uncles, cousins, extended family and special friends too numerous to mention. Julie, Ted, Charlie and Katie give our thanks for the past and present love and support from the Carrol Alan Scott family.
