Kathleen "Katy" Ann Jacobs

Kathleen Ann “Katy” Jacobs, 80, Leawood, KS passed away May 15, 2017. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., with a reception following. Burial in Apostolic Cemetery, Gridley, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs.

Katy was born August 30, 1936 in Emporia, KS, daughter of Frank and Katherine (Schneider) Knapp. She had worked as a HR manager and bookkeeper. She loved her pets and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her grandson Kolton Seibert. Katy is survived by her daughter Angie and husband Gregg Seibert, brother Ted and wife Sue Knapp, grandchildren Dalton and Delainey Seibert, nephew Tim Knapp and nieces Tamra Knapp and Traci Thompson.
