Julia Elaine Young Law, “Julie”, died peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2024, due to a traumatic brain injury as a result of a fall. Julie was born July 12, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri, the 3rd daughter of Sarah Etta English Young and John Edwin Young. She had a special connection with her father and loved sharing his initials.

Julie married Robert Stanley “Stan” Law on February 27, 1982, and in November of 1991, they welcomed their son, Bradley Joseph Law to the family. Julie and Brad had an especially close relationship. She was a loyal ‘Baseball Mom’ and supportive “Scout Mom” and could be counted on to support both Brad’s and Stan’s interests.
At the time of her death, Julie was happily employed as an Accounts Payable Specialist at the Central Bank of Kansas City.
Julie had a heart of gold, a sports fan’s enthusiasm, a gentle fun-loving spirit, and knew how to make her friends and loved ones laugh. She will be missed by all who knew her.
