Joseph Charles Lane passed November 6, 2023. He leaves behind a sister, Betty, daughter Dona and two step-sons Robert and Alfred. He was preceded by his wife, Faye, his father Joseph, and mother Nan. He was a life-long resident of the Kansas City Metro area ending in Grandview MO.
Joseph worked in the warehousing divisions of many companies like Tension Envelope, Bear, and Amazon. He was an avid fan of sports. He loved baseball and football. He played softball until he couldn’t anymore. But, mostly he loved professional wrestling.
Joseph was a loving father who was involved with his children. His family will miss this incredibly strong-willed, opinionated, intelligent, talented, funny, good man in a million ways and his children thank him for being there for them.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
