Joseph John Kelly III, passed away on February 3, 2021 with his family, brother Craig and sister-in-law Cindy, at his side. He was 67.
Joe attended Pem Day and graduated from Oberlin College. His career began in New York producing books with his writing and photographic skills. In New York, a mutual friend introduced Joe to Diane Keaton. Their lifelong friendship lead to many years of working together directing and producing movies in New York and Los Angeles.
In later years, Joe’s beloved niece, Samantha Kelly, produced Gallery Shows in Nashville and Kansas City “Joe Kelly New York 1981” (Studio 54 and street scenes).
Joe’s sense of humor and wildly creative mind will live forever in his photographs. He was a great brother and uncle and could always make you laugh. He will be missed.
Joe was preceded in death by his loving parents, Joseph and Kathleen Kelly.
