Luke was born at Novinger, Missouri on February 27, 1936 where he grew up and moved to Kansas City in 1955. On Nov. 26, 1958 he married Shirley Ann Mays of Kansas City. They celebrated 62 years of marriage together. Luke worked at Wallace Mfg Co in North Kansas City for six years and retired in 1998 from InTeli-Mail formerly Data Documents in Lenexa KS with thirty three years of service. He enjoyed drawing and gardening. Luke was a loving Christian husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, his children Rhonda (Matt) Enke, and Johnny Rezek. Five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Luke will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 11924 East 47th Street, Kansas City, MO 64133. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery, 230th St, Gallatin, MO 64640.
