Jimmy was an awesome young man. I worked with him for over 2 years at Labcorp prior to his transition to a new job. At 830 in the evening Jimmy would walk in with an infectious smile that would light up the room. While working together we would talk about his creative recipes and he would share pictures. He also talked about his passion for music and guitars. It was a pleasure working with him and he was a fine Clinical Laboratory Scientist. This is a photo of his last day on the job of me and him at a potluck given for his last day working at Labcorp. My Condolences and prayers to the family.

My absolute favorite memory was Halloween a few years back. Jimmy came walking in to class as a banana and set the mood for the whole class. Although we did have moments that were not as bright, being able to watch each other fight to the finish, then succeed in our careers and adult lives has been amazing. I hope for peace for both you and your family.

  You were truly one of a kind :) I'll always remember the first time we met and our first Christmas together as a family. You were my partner in crime. The best beer pong partner ever .  I'll always remember the vacation we took in Bay saint Louis and I hit you in the head with a crab .... Better to be hit than to have I guess ,Lol. We'll miss your calls and talking about the lab work and your cooking creations. I'm proud to have been in your life. You will be missed by so many.

I never knew the day that I met you Jimmy that I would have a whirlwind of five plus years with such an amazing person. You were  my confidant, my best friend, my person, and so much more. I will forever remember our late nights cooking and you making me breakfast because you liked to 'feed me'. I will remember your love of music - how you would light up talking about your guitars and would take at least 5 minutes picking the perfect cd for our drive (even if it was only 2 minutes to Target). I will remember birthdays celebrated, Christmas mornings, and Valentines dates. I will remember days spent playing video games, binging netflix, and talking about our futures.  I will remember that you taught me to love.  I hope that wherever you are Jimmy that you are with John and watching over all of us.

There are so many memories to share how do I pick just one? Do I reminisce about the all day-long video game sessions; Repeatedly trying for more rounds on COD Zombies, how about You, Christian, and myself building on our ever-expanding shared world in Minecraft? Going for the Platinum trophies on Borderlands 1 & 2? Screaming like little girls playing through RE7 in VR? Or how about the family trip to Chicago, the Drive down to Fantastic Caverns, the Ren-fest, Comi-con? The late night discussions on existence, science, our beliefs, our fears, and all the laughs... I cant think of a single memory that out weighs another because every time we hung out was a blast, even when you just came over and we sat in silence. I remember that Nerf gun game we created after modifying our Nerf Guns, only to forget and change the rules the next time. I remember how much you loved seeing Christian. I remember how much you enjoyed playing with Rorschach. I remember how you nicked named my cat "The Furry Cactus"  I Remember the Christmas', Birthdays, and every other event you were present for. You never once failed to come through for me or your nephew (who undoubtedly loves you as much as any one person can love another). Our hearts are breaking at the thought of not seeing you stroll up the front steps, your signature, "Hey doo, Waz up Bubby" as you walked in... and I hope, where ever you are, that you are watching over us and all that love you.

Jimmy you will be missed. When i was training for phlebotomy we had alot of laughs together. Prayers to your family

Growing up a lot of people befriended the neighborhood kids or kids from school, we all befriended our cousins.  Thats who we grew up with, played with, learned about life with, and stood behind when our family faced adveristy.  Jimmy was always front and center in the core of these relationships for many of us, from staying up till 3am playing video games, shooting BB guns in the woods at our grandparents, to being the one of the people I hung around most when we both lost someone.  I can't thank him enough for the memories and friendship he offered to me from the first days I can remember untill now. 

I had the pleasure of watching Jim grow from an adolescent into a remarkable man. I am devastated at his passing. My heart breaks for this tragic loss; for Sally, Jenny, Christian and the rest of his immediate family. Everyone who knew Jimmy loved him. He was an amazing person, kind, and thoughtful. I guess we never know why these things happen and we will never understand how someone so loved could be taken away so suddenly without explanation. He will be so very missed by so very many.
