Jimmy Dale “Jimbo” Cumper, 77, passed away February 10, 2017 at the Health Care Resort of Shawnee Mission. Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Jimmy was born December 23, 1939, in Camdenton, MO., to Henry and Jane (Caviness) Cumper. He moved to Kansas City, MO around 1963 where he resided until his death. He worked as a Meat cutter for Safeway and Food Barn and was a member of U.F.C.W. District Union Local Two. Jimmy married twice, both ending in divorce and had no children. He was preceded in death by both parents, all eight of his siblings and is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and an abundance of friends. As a child Jimmy accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Camdenton.
