Jewel Thomas Duncan

Jewel Duncan, 93, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010. Visitation will be held from 2:30 -3:30 p.m. followed by funeral services at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Mrs. Duncan was born September 10, 1916 in Birchtree, Shannon County, Missouri, daughter of Houston and Malinda E. (Nicholson) Thomas. She had worked for county government as a clerk. She was a member of Red Bridge Christian Church. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her son Jimmie D. and wife Kay Duncan of Lantana, Texas; daughters LaDonna G. and husband Stan Jurgeson and Kathlyn Joy and husband Charlie Graves; grandchildren Melinda Christianson, Melanie Goddard, Susie Lovett, Marsha Jurgeson, Mitch Jurgeson, and Seth Graves; great-grandchildren Heather, Jeff, Bridget, Jenni, David C., Madison, and Mitchell; and great-great-grandchildren Braeden, Damien, Kendall, Hunter and Emilee.
