Jennie Soetaert, 92, Kansas City, MO, passed away March 29, 2011 at home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. Anthony Parish, 318 Benton Avenue, Kansas City, MO, burial in St Mary’s Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday at McGilley Antioch Chapel where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to North Care Hospice or American Cancer Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Soetaert in 1978. She is survived by her son, James P. (Beverly) Soetaert; daughter, Joyce (Mike) Shanin; granddaughter, Connie (Lee) Carlile; grandson, Louis Soetaert; and 2 great granddaughters.
