Visitation for Jeff will begin at 1:00PM, a celebration of life service to follow at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
Jeff was born April 21, 1961 to Donald and Virginia. He graduated from Raytown High School and continued his education at DeVry University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT). Jeff was married to Donna (Smith) Rovenstine for 16 years. In that time, they had three wonderful children, Michael, Kristin, and Daniel. Jeff was employed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City where he was beloved by his fellow co-workers. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed playing guitar, taking his kids to the Renaissance Festival, cooking, watching football, and listening to music. Jeff also enjoyed sharing and discussing his thoughts and opinions on political matters.
Jeff is survived by his three children, Michael Rovenstine (29), Kristin Barnes (27), and Daniel Rovenstine (21). From Heaven, Jeff helped welcome his first Grandchild Lilliana Sue Barnes, born two days after his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Beverly Rovenstine and Virginia & Carl Oliver.
