Jean K. Trotta

Jean was born in St. Louis, MO in 1927 to Floyd and Dorothy Lawrence. She married Frank A. Trotta in 1944 and enjoyed 40 years of marriage until Frank’s death in 1984.

Jean was an avid seamstress and enjoyed dancing and cooking. Her true passion was her family and she loved large gatherings with lots of family and friends and clam dip.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Pat) Trotta of Canon City, CO, Barry (Lori) Trotta of Cape Coral, FL, Scott (Joella) Trotta of Blue Springs, MO, Susie (Terry) Walker of Odessa, MO, and Jeanne (Steve) Spencer of Portland, OR, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Lawrence and her grandson, Noah Spencer.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 12 pm with visitation beginning at 11 am at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
