Mrs. Jean Parish

Jean Parish, 89, of Cleveland, MO passed away September 28, 2015. Visitation will be Saturday, October 3 at 10:00 am with the funeral service following at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Blue Springs, 1405 W. Main Street, Blue Springs, MO. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Jean is survived by her daughter, Shelia Bridgman (Bruce) of Gallatin, MO; son, Roger Parish (Rhonda) of Cleveland, MO; sister, Angie Easterby (Nels); twelve grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ray Parish Jr., her son, Dennis Parish, and three siblings. Jean committed her life to Christ and was baptized in 1978. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs. She was a prayer warrior on behalf of many and was very dedicated to the special needs ministry at her church. She was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family requests contributions to the church's Special Education Ministry.
