Jean Broderick, 92, Kansas City, passed away Feb. 16, 2018. Services are at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 4737 N Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64117. Visitation is Monday Feb. 19 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM with Rosary at 7:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Terrace Park Cemetery.
Jean was born Oct. 1, 1925 to Eugene and Ruby Divan in Springfield, MO. Following school, she met and married Martin Broderick, her beloved husband of 72 years. Their marriage produced five children.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Betty Boring, Audrey Frye and Carol Mangan; granddaughter Katherine Michelle “Katie”; and son-in-law Dennis Copeland. Survivors include her husband, Martin; children Ronald (Patricia) Broderick, Marty (Mimi) Broderick, Susan Copeland, Patrick (Celeste) Broderick and Lisa Broderick; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St Gabriel Catholic Church.
