Jason C. Julian, 35 years old, passed away on November 28, in his home with his dad and brother at his side. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Pamela C. Julian, his grandfathers, Albert (Al) Rhoads and Gerald (Jay) Julian. He is survived by his father, Mark, his brother Jeffery both of Lee’s Summit; his grandmothers’ Sylvia Julian of Independence; and Elaine Rhoads of Lee’s Summit, and many cousins and friends. Jason was a 2004 graduate of Blue Springs South High School where he participated in 4 years of football and couple years of wrestling. His love of sports landed him in Florida where he pursued his dreams of becoming a professional college baseball umpire, which he was able to achieve. His biggest passion in life was to help people. He was loved by many and his smile and laughter was contagious and would light up the room.
Sadly, 5 years ago, Jason was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. This brought him back to the Kansas City Area. He accepted it and fought to the end without complaining. Jason was an inspiration to all who knew and loved him.
Jason enjoyed spending time with his family and watching all sports. He loved Chiefs and Royals and was a diehard fan of the Missouri Tigers Football Team. He participated in the American Stroke Foundation at the YMCA becoming a leader of the aquatic workouts. Jason attended trivia night which he loved and went to the movies and outings every week.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to American Stroke Foundation, 6405 Metcalf suite 214, Overland Park, Kansas, 66202.
