Janet M. (Cooper) Wilson, born September 10th, 1935 (age 83) passed away November 18, 2018 at her home in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and was currently residing in Lee’s Summit. She was a member of the Oakwood Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Southeast High School in Kansas City, MO class of 1954 and a 50-year member of the Beta Sigma Phi social sorority. She is survived by her sons; Scott Wilson of Harrisonville, MO and Bill Wilson and wife Sandra of Lee’s Summit, MO and five grandchildren, Jonathan, Bryce (Scott’s), Caleb, Rachel and Emily (Bill & Sandra’s). A sister Susan and husband Tony Velasquez. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 24th at 1:00 at the Newcomer’s Floral Hills Cemetery at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
