She was born in Washburn, Wisconsin on September 30, 1937 to Earl and Marie Pedersen.
Janet was a court reporter for over 30 years with the Jackson County Circuit Court.
She is survived by her many friends in Kansas City and cousins in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas and Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald K. Bryant.
A graveside ceremony with interment of ashes will be on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery at 2:00pm. Friends may gather at 1:45pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, and 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
A celebration of life will be held immediately following from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Flo’s Poke-A-Dot Lounge, 8934 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64114.
