Janet L. Bayless, 62, of Blue Springs, MO passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on April 24, 2014. Janet graduated from Grandview HS in 1969, then worked as a paralegal for the Federal Government, retiring after 37 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, taking pictures, genealogy research, and WWII history. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and June Cox. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ken; daughter, Brandi Bayless (Evan); sisters, Debbie (Ron) Aldridge, Gail Brooks, and Donna Cox; brother, Gary Cox; 5 nieces, 4 nephews; and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday May 27 from 6-8pm at Floral Hills. Services will be Wednesday May 28 at 2pm at Floral Hills
