I haven't seen Jim for a long time, he was best man at Andy and my wedding & I always remember how wonderful he was & how close to God he was.  I know he is at peace with the Lord. As a new believer in Jesus Christ, Jim was one of the first brothers in Christ I had the privilege of worshiping with at the Joy of the Lord Fellowship in the early 1980's.  By beautiful example, he taught me and so many others how to open our hearts in praise to the Lord, listen for the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit and obey His leading.  His leadership was gentle, kind, respectful and encouraging.  To his family, I grieve your loss.  With respect to Jim, surely he is in fullness of joy now, beholding the face of the Lord he loved so very much. May the grace of God be with you.

For a Methodist pastor seeking to know more of the Holy Spirit, knowing Jim was like manna from heaven.  There was no Christian I admired more than Jim, and I introduced many others to his ministry.  He was a blessing to those from Broadway United Methodist and Peculiar Methodist churches, through Joy of the Lord fellowship and Life in the Spirit seminars.  Our loss is Heaven's gain.  We look forward to meeting him again there.  To his family members:  May the peace of God be yours always.

We first met Jim 37 years ago at the Joy of the Lord Meeting at St. Elizabeth church and last at the Hospital in December. Jim was a faithful friend and encourager. It is consoling to know that he continues to be a blessing to us all from a better vantage point.

Jim helped me out tremendously through a very painful period in my life. He showed me how to find healing through his prayer, counsel and faith. He taught me how to rely more deeply and completely on Our Lord and to find the best possible counsel through the Holy Spirit. May he rest in peace, and in the presence of the Trinity, whom he loved so deeply.

Jim was a great man in my books. He will always remain in my thoughts. My love and admiration for him will always live on. what a Blessing he was and will always be for those who knew him and I am sure he will touch the lives he never met just from all the love he gave us will be passed on to others. My heart rejoices knowing that all he suffered will be gain with our Lord. Jim please continue to pray for all of us who need the Lord's help. You truly are a blessed man. I am sure the Lord is pleased with his true and faithful servant.
Rejoice in the Lord, you are home with your Lord. The never ending Prayer Meeting!

Come Holy spirit fill us to overflowing!

If some were to ask to describe my grandpa in three words for all of those of you who know him u know that that is impossible to do just being in my grandpas presence is a blessings itself. Anytime you are around the man he brings such a happiness and warmth to your heart. Everyone loved my grandpa and the best part about that is that he knew it but was always so humble about it!! My grandpa was the best listener in the world i would talk to him as if he was one of my best friends which over time that is what he became to me my best friend. Words cant describe all the love and laughter he and i have shared. He treated me as if i was one of his own children i was his baby he never wanted me to worry about him or anything and watched out for me but now i know he is out there watching over me and i am so appreciative for the time i have spen with him i know he will always be there for me listening up in heaven where he belongs...

Thank you all for your condolences my family and I appreciate it.

Jim was one of my closest friends and one of the best Catholic Christians I have ever known with a great gift of prayer.  God bless all in Jim's family. My deepest sympathy and prayers.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I know how special your dad was to you, Maureen.  I'm sure that was the case for all of your siblings as well.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God's blessings to you all.

Jim was a wonderful man who was a friend to many, including being my Dad's best friend for many years. We are all better people for knowing Jim. His faith in God was inspiring. All my best to Jim's daughters and sons. May God Bless Jim and all of you.

Jim was a devout Catholic man with immese faith.  He truly touched the lives of my family.  His prayers for my family were so powerful and life altering.  Thank you Jim. Such simple words that will never fully describe the gratitude that we feel. You will live in our hearts forever.

To my cousins,
I am so sorry to hear about your Father. He was one of the nicest guys I think I ever met in my life. Always had a smile and that Irish twinkle in his eyes.  I know he will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.  I will miss seeing at Mass at St. Elizabeth's with one of you next to him in the coming months.  But I know he was ready for his next journey in life.    
At times like this I like to recall the Irish Blessing "May God hold him in the palm of his hand until you meet again...

I can find no words adequate enough to express my profound love and respect for Jim. Thank you, God, for bringing him into my life, and into my family's life!
